The healing time for this perineal suture wound will heal normally within 5-7 days after delivery. Perineal wound care for mothers after giving birth is useful for reducing discomfort, maintaining cleanliness, preventing infection and healing. Perineal rupture in postpartum mothers whose wounds are not properly cared for is very susceptible to infection which affects the healing of the perineal wound, which causes septic shock, complications that spread to the bladder or cystitis, and even postpartum death. Betel leaf extract contains essential oils which are mainly antimicrobial, and contains saponins which stimulate the formation of collagen, a structural protein that plays a role in the wound healing process in postpartum mothers. Purpose: This study aims to carry out Midwifery Care for Postpartum Mothers with Level II Perineal Wound Care using boiled betel leaf water. Method: This study is descriptive observational in the form of a case study. This study was conducted at the patient's home in the BPM "S" area of Bengkulu City on June 5 11, 2024. The subjects of this study were postpartum mothers aged 0-7 days, experiencing perineal wounds II, and primigravida. Using the 7-step Varney care method and progress notes with the SOAP method, by providing wound care using boiled betel leaf water, pharmacological drugs (500mg mefenamic acid 3x1, 500 mg amoxicillin 3x1, and consuming nutritious foods (containing protein). Results: The client's wound healed within 4 days, this is indicated by the results of observations that the wound was dry and the tissues in the perineal wound had united. Thus it can be concluded that the use of boiled betel leaf water for perineal wound care is quite effective if done properly and correctly, and can accelerate wound healing time.
