Abstract

Midwifery care is continuous midwifery care from pregnant women, third trimester, giving birth, newborns, postpartum to becoming family planning acceptors as an effort to reduce maternal mortality (AKI) and infant mortality (IMR). The diagnosis in this case is Mrs. "R" 32 years old G4P3A0 third trimester, will be given comprehensive care from pregnancy until she becomes a family planning acceptor. Implementation of the care given to Mrs. "R" is in accordance with the goals that have been set, the mother's pregnancy is healthy and full term, the birth goes smoothly for the mother and the baby is healthy, the postpartum period for the mother is healthy and the baby is healthy, the neonate is healthy and fit, the mother is a family planning acceptor. The results of the case study on Mrs. "R" means that prenatal care has been carried out, there is no gap between theory and case, prenatal care with 10T has not been carried out, the delivery is normal, the newborn looks fit, IMD is 30 minutes. Neonatal and postpartum care proceeded normally, no complications were found, family planning care was carried out and the mother chose a 3-month injectable birth control contraceptive. After the author provided care to Mrs. "R" during pregnancy there were no complications found, in childbirth care there was no gap between theory and cases, in postpartum care, newborns and family planning everything was within normal limits. It is hoped that practical land owners can carry out IMD implementation in accordance with theory by paying attention to care in the field and in the community so that it can help reduce MMR and IMR.
